Finally, Boeing gets a new order for the 737 MAX: Join Air, a Polish charter airline, orders two MAX 8s with an option to order two more.

A new order extends the contribution of the Polish carrier to the 737 family

Enter Air: "The winning 737 MAX will be the best aircraft... for many years to come."

Boeing and Enter Air today reported that, with a new order for two 737-8 aircraft plus options for two more planes, the Polish airline is expanding its commitment to the 737 family.

Enter Air, an all-Boeing operator and https://air-miles-guide.com/countries/poland/ Poland's largest charter airline, started operations with a single 737 airplane in 2010. Today, 22 Next-Generation 737s and two 737 MAX aircraft form the airline's fleet. When the new purchasing agreement is completely enforced, the 737 MAX fleet of Enter Air will expand to 10 aircraft.

It is important to think about the future, despite the current crisis. We also decided to order an additional 737-8 aircraft for that reason. "I am convinced that it will be the best aircraft in the world for many years to come, following the rigorous checks that the 737 MAX is undergoing," said Grzegorz Polaniecki, general manager and board member of Enter Air.

A settlement to resolve the commercial impacts resulting from the grounding of the 737 MAX fleet was also finalized by Enter Air and Boeing. The payout will be given in a variety of ways and staggered over a period of time, although the particulars of the arrangement remain confidential.

In the settlement with Boeing, in reaction to current market conditions, we decided to update the delivery schedule for previously ordered aircraft. "The specific terms of the settlement are strictly confidential, but we are pleased with the manner in which Boeing treated us as its client," Polaniecki said.

"We are humbled by the dedication of Enter Air to the Boeing 737 family. Their order for additional 737-8s underlines their confidence in Boeing's aircraft and men and women,' said Ihssane Mounir, the Boeing Company's senior vice president of commercial sales and marketing. We look forward to building on our decade-long Enter Air relationship and working with the airline to confidently return to commercial operation their entire 737 fleet. "
