Etihad Airways, the UAE's national airline, will launch scheduled year-round daily flights to Tel Aviv, Israel's economic and technological hub.
The flight launch follows the normalization of diplomatic ties between the two nations and the signing in Washington D.C. of the Abraham Accords between the UAE and Israel. September 15th. Only a month later, on October 19, 2020, Etihad became the first carrier of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to operate a commercial passenger flight to and from Tel Aviv.
Mohammad Al Bulooki, Chief Operating Officer, Etihad Aviation Group, said: "Etihad is delighted to announce a direct link between these important cities following the signing of the new bilateral agreement."

The new service will provide greater choice and comfort for point-to-point business and leisure travelers between the UAE and Israel, effective from 28 March 2021. Not only will it encourage direct inbound tourism to Abu Dhabi, it will also provide the opportunity for Emiratis and UAE residents to explore the historical sites, beaches, restaurants and nightlife of Israel.
Departures will be conveniently scheduled to link to key gateways throughout the Etihad network, including China, India, Thailand and https://air-miles-guide.com/countries/australia/ Australia, via Abu Dhabi.
The Etihad Wellness sanitisation and safety program, which ensures that the highest levels of hygiene are upheld at every point of the customer journey, is greatly supported by flying to from and from Abu Dhabi. This includes wellness ambassadors specially trained, a first in the industry, who have been launched by the airline to provide critical travel health information and treatment on the ground and on every flight, so that guests can fly with greater ease and peace of mind.
